About me
Trudi-Ann Dyer, MS, serves as the Internship Coordinator II in the Office of Internships & Cooperative Programs (ICP) at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). In her role, she guides students in STEM-related majors as they pursue high-impact internships. She played a key role in spearheading the development of FGCU’s inaugural Internship Week, a campus-wide effort that strengthened internship engagement, expanded employer partnerships, and enhanced experiential learning pathways for students, faculty, staff, and industry partners. She also teaches the Professional Internship course, preparing students to leverage their internship experiences for long-term career success. Trudi-Ann brings years of experience in human services, community engagement, college recruitment, admissions, and career readiness. Over her six years at FGCU, she has worked in the College of Health, the College of Education, and now ICP. After earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Florida, she began her career in the nonprofit sector, supporting youth in schools and the community. Whether guiding, teaching, or coordinating initiatives, she is driven by a passion for helping students grow, gain confidence, and discover what they are capable of.
