Dwayne Peterson is a nationally recognized leader in career education, experiential learning, early career talent acquisition, and workforce development, with a passion for transforming futures. As a career strategist for nearly two decades, Dwayne has helped people from diverse industries and at all educational levels navigate their career decisions and find success. Within higher education, he has advanced innovative practices that prepare college students for meaningful careers and guided recruiting organizations on effective early talent recruitment strategies. Specializing in liberal arts career education, Dwayne has led teams to develop curricula tailored to meet the unique career readiness needs of college students studying humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and the arts. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Career Center at Eckerd College, where he leads campus efforts with faculty to integrate comprehensive career education into the academic program, scaling career success for all Eckerd students. Dwayne holds a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Miami University in Ohio, a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of South Florida. He currently serves on the FloridaACE Board of Directors as the Information Management Director.
