Ciara Suarez is a career services professional, educator, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Board Certified Coach serving as Director of the Center for Career Engagement and Opportunity at New College of Florida. She specializes in career development, mentorship, life design, and holistic student support, helping students and professionals navigate transitions with clarity and purpose.At New College, she leads innovative career readiness initiatives spanning internships, mentorship, employer engagement, graduate school advising, and experiential learning. Her work has included launching scalable mentorship programs and increasing student engagement through intentionalinitiatives designed to expand access to career opportunities.Ciara also brings a clinical counseling background, with experience in higher education and mental health settings, which informs her holistic approach to coaching and student development. She has presented at conferences including FloridaACE, SoACE, and NACE on topics such as mentorship innovation, design thinking, and career readiness strategies.She holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and a BA in Psychology from the University of South Florida.
