Dr. Anthea Henderson is an Associate Director for the Office of Transfer Student Success in the Department of Undergraduate Studies. Her professional experiences of 40+ years include higher education administration, student leadership development, mental health counseling, program evaluation, teaching, clinical supervision, consulting, and personal development and training. Dr. Henderson is a Certified Program Evaluator. She holds an M.A. in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of South Florida. Dr. Henderson’s vision for transfer students is that they feel supported, engaged and career ready. In her role, she focuses on student success by providing strategic and proactive initiates through outreach and high impact practices.
